An independent, employee-owned research and engineering practice built around one idea: measure first, design second.

Why we exist

Resonant Field Lab was founded by acousticians who were frustrated watching sound and vibration problems get treated as an afterthought — brought in after a building was already designed, when the only fixes left were expensive ones. We built our practice around getting involved early, when measurement and modeling can actually shape the outcome.

Today our team works across architectural acoustics, environmental and industrial noise control, and structural vibration engineering, serving architects, engineers, universities, transit authorities, and manufacturing clients who need acoustic performance they can defend with data.

How we work

Every engagement starts with field measurement, not assumption. Whether it's a classroom's reverberation time, a mechanical room's noise transmission, or a transit line's ground-borne vibration, we collect real data before proposing a design response — and we validate our predictions after construction whenever possible.
